🎒 Pack an Essentials Box

Have one clearly marked box or bag with:

• Toiletries

• Chargers

• Medications

• Important documents

• Change of clothes

This prevents digging through boxes on day one.

❄️ Handle Special Items Separately

• Liquids: seal in plastic bags to prevent leaks.

• Valuables (jewelry, cash, documents): keep with the customer, not in the truck.

• Fragile items: wrap individually and mark clearly.

🏷️ Label Like a Pro

• Clearly label each box with:

  • Room destination (e.g., “Kitchen,” “Master Bedroom”)

  • Contents (short description)

  • “FRAGILE” if needed

• Use color-coded stickers for each room to speed up unloading.

📦 Pack Smart, Not Just Fast

• Use uniform box sizes when possible so they stack neatly in the truck.

• Don’t overpack boxes—keep them under ~50 lbs to avoid injuries.

• Fill empty space with towels, linens, or packing paper so items don’t shift.

• Tape the bottom seams well—double-taping prevents blowouts mid-move, unless, of course, you're using re-usable plastic totes
